Sad news coming in from the town of Afful Nkwanta indicates that a boy who is named Bobie Ansah has hanged himself to death after watching the suicide incident of Leticia Pinamang on TV. The deceased is said to be 9 years old and a student at New Age international school, a pupil of class 3. According to his grandmother after watching the Leticia Suicide incident on TV, the boy attempted trying to hang himself, he called his friends n tried the act but the people in the community came and rescued him from the act.
But few days later, the boy went into his grandmothers room and hanged himself. When the news broke out a lot of people blamed the media for doing a bad report, and showing content which shouldn’t be on tv in relation that, it may have psychological issues with minors who watch it. This issue is really disturbing and should be taken serious, no one knows the number of kids who have watched these incident without knowing what it’s about and may want to practice it. It’s time the media stop showing certain sensitive graphical scenes on tv. As we speak the boy is dead and his body has been deposited at the morgue for further investigation.
