Nigerian singer, Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour N’abania has revealed that he never planned on having kids before getting married.
Flavour has three kids with two different women.
He has a daughter with former beauty queen Anna Banner and two kids with Sandra Okabue
He said this during an interview with media personality, Ebuka Obi Uchendu.
Flavour stated that he agrees with the public opinion that he is a womanizer adding that “That’s people judging (me), you know, As long as you are in the public eye, you would get stuff like that, It was never planned, though I cannot deny that I love beautiful women. I am an African man, not a white man, I have tasted too with women. I don’t just go with anything.”
The singer admitted that he knew that it would be a difficult task for him to handle women definitely due to the nature of his career as a musician.
He said, “I knew that with my job at some point, it was going to be very difficult with women.”
However, Flavour who is blessed with three kids said his children give him joy; though he never planned that he was going to be having children out of wedlock, seeing his children excites him, and that is all that matters.
“I am very happy when I look at the kids, and I believe that is all that matters. I am so happy because I never expected everything to happen this way. When you also look at the positives, you would see happiness in it. You have to take it. This is life, and you have to live it. I swallow everything and get on with it. I make myself happy,” he added
In the interview, Flavour also disclosed that he charges N10 MILLION for a show
Flavour opened up on his rates when quizzed on it by Ebuka. Though reluctant to let the cat out of the bag at first, he finally revealed that figure as “ten million naira or thereabouts”.
“It motivates me, it shows how people appreciate you,” Flavour told Ebuka as he spoke about his charge rate.
“Even in this COVID period. I was going to sing for couples, just them and their families. Sometimes I go with my guitar and that was all it took.
“They just needed to hear you sing and they paid something as I went with a band and all that.”
Opening up about his privates life, the 37-year-old said; “I was a virgin up to 24. Remember, I told you, the first man that took me in, I served, one of my starting point.no television, radio or woman. The first time I made out was at 24″
“The worse part of everything was that I was staying with a man that wasn’t even married, so there was no room for that. With him, it was just work and continuous work because then, it seemed like I already had one particular lifestyle.
“Unfortunately too, as of that time, there was no proper s*x education, so I wasn’t really being educated on how these things work.
“I was finally ‘disvirgined’ by a random girl I met at one of my shows then. She made the moves towards me, and after she found out I was still a novice in that area, she vowed to make me a man. But in honesty, it has been a different story since then.”
